Gets to a point where you just gotta laugh at the bullshit!! : NBASpurs

I mean, honestly I think all of these people and DeMar should have made it over Zion who literally is only good at scoring and getting offensive rebounds. he's passing more now that they changed the scheme a bit but he was just a play finisher until the last two weeks before voting.all of those people outside maybe Booker have comparable advanced stats but they're contributing more to winning games actual games, running the teams offense, or playing strong defense. it's dumb because DeMars advanced stats this year are awesome and I still see people trying to say he loses his minutes on the court when it's just not true. he loses his minutes with LMA, and every other relevant lineup is positive, some by a lot. Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, Draymond Green out vs. Phoenix Suns

PHOENIX -- Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and forward Draymond Green sat out Thursday's first-half finale against the Phoenix Suns.Curry, who is scheduled to participate in Sunday's All-Star Game, rested Thursday on the second night of a back-to-back. It was the second game he missed this season.Green missed Thursday's game as he continues to recover from a sprained left ankle suffered in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.Warriors coach Steve Kerr said it was a "very easy" decision to sit his two stars. On the second night of a tough back-to-back, neither Curry nor Green flew with the Warriors to Phoenix in advance of the game."Draymond, we definitely didn't want playing a back to back on the ankle from the other night. And Steph just needs a rest," Kerr said before Thu...

NBA commissioner Adam Silver says fans should consider All-Star Weekend a ‘television-only event’

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said fans should think of the upcoming All-Star Weekend in Atlanta as a "television-only event," and once again discouraged fans from traveling to the game, which is being played without fans because of the COVID-19 pandemic."The message within the NBA community is that we're going to be operating in a mini bubble," Silver said in an interview with ESPN on Wednesday. "There will be no NBA functions [for fans] to participate in. We appreciate their support and hope they'll watch our All-Star Game on television ... this is a television-only event in Atlanta."Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has repeatedly discouraged fans from traveling to her city for the game and asked bars and nightclubs not to throw parties.Still, a number of events purporting to have a ...

NBA Daily: Washington’s Positionless Rebuild | Basketball Insiders

Upon first glance, the Washington Wizards look like an absolute train wreck. They traded away a lottery-protected 2023 first-round pick to swap out John Wall for Russell Westbrook – whose contract will haunt them through the end of 2022-23 – and they are on the verge of chasing away their 27-year-old, thirty-point per game scoring guard, Bradley Beal. So insert your “Washington can’t get their stuff together” comment here while you can, because the opportunity won’t be here for long. Before getting too far ahead of ourselves, it’s worth acknowledging that the Wizards have, in fact, botched the opportunity to build a winner around Beal thus far. But, when John Wall opted to have heal surgery and subsequently ruptured his Achilles, the door shut on that option, anyway. The...
